Publisher

Publisher is VYRDAI's final publishing interface — the one place a finished render is actually sent to YouTube or TikTok.

Introduction

The canonical path into Publisher is Media → (Edit, if needed) → Publisher → choose a platform, and the same applies from Editor → Publisher when the edit has a known source job. Opening Publisher never publishes anything by itself — publishing only happens after you explicitly choose a platform and options and press the publish action yourself.

Opening Publisher

From Media — a finished output's Publish action opens Publisher with that render already loaded.
From Editor — Publish opens Publisher with the edited render loaded, when the Editor knows the original Media job it came from. See the Editor documentation for when this is and isn't available.
From Studio — open Publisher directly from the Studio sidebar.

Connecting accounts

Before publishing to a platform, connect the corresponding account using Publisher's Connect YouTube or Connect TikTok action. Once connected, Publisher shows your connected identity and a way to disconnect that platform. Connecting one platform does not connect the other — YouTube and TikTok are independent connections. After you authorize a platform, VYRDAI returns you to the Publisher page you were using, including the current job when applicable.

Platform selector

Publisher offers three platform choices: YouTube, TikTok, and Both. Selecting YouTube shows only YouTube's own options; selecting TikTok shows only TikTok's own options; selecting Both shows both sets together, each independent of the other.

YouTube publishing

YouTube offers its own three official privacy statuses:

Public — the video is published publicly.
Unlisted — accessible through its link, but not listed in normal YouTube discovery or on your channel.
Private — the video remains private.

When a YouTube publish succeeds, Publisher shows the resulting video link.

TikTok publishing

TikTok Production OAuth: Connected and working. You can authorize your real TikTok account; VYRDAI reads your creator info from TikTok.
Content Posting API: Available. VYRDAI can send video to TikTok.
Direct Post (public): Currently restricted by TikTok. VYRDAI's Content Posting API client has not yet completed TikTok's audit, so TikTok only allows a Direct Post to a private / self-only account (TikTok error unaudited_client_can_only_post_to_private_accounts). This is a TikTok requirement, not a VYRDAI failure. A public Direct Post becomes available once TikTok completes the Content Posting API audit.
Draft / Upload: Available. Sends the video to your TikTok inbox for you to finish and post from the TikTok app.

Public and Private both use TikTok's Direct Post. VYRDAI requests the privacy level you select — but only when TikTok reports that option as available for your connected account, and while the Content Posting API audit is pending TikTok forces the post to private regardless of the option chosen. The final visibility is always decided by TikTok.

Draft is a different workflow entirely — not a privacy variation of Public or Private. Draft uploads your video to your TikTok inbox; you then open TikTok yourself to finish editing and posting it there. Publisher reports a successful Draft upload as SENT TO TIKTOK INBOX and tells you to open TikTok to finish editing and posting.

TikTok privacy options

VYRDAI asks TikTok which privacy options are actually available for your connected account before offering Public or Private, and only enables the ones TikTok confirms are available. Different TikTok accounts may not expose the same options — this is a platform constraint from TikTok's own API requirements, not a limitation specific to VYRDAI.

Publishing to both platforms

When Both is selected, YouTube and TikTok are published independently — each uses its own privacy selection, and they don't share a single setting. Publisher shows the result for each platform separately.

Results and errors

After publishing, Publisher shows a real result for each platform you selected: a YouTube link on success, a TikTok inbox confirmation for Draft, or an error message if a platform rejected the request or a connection problem occurred.

Security

Accounts must be connected before you can publish to them. VYRDAI publishes using the account you authorized. Disconnecting a platform removes only that platform's connection from VYRDAI — your YouTube and TikTok connections are independent of each other.

Troubleshooting

TikTok says the post is private / Direct Post is restricted: While VYRDAI's Content Posting API client is still awaiting TikTok's audit, TikTok only permits a Direct Post to a private / self-only account (error unaudited_client_can_only_post_to_private_accounts). This is enforced by TikTok, not by VYRDAI, and it is not a technical failure on VYRDAI's side. Use Draft to send the video to your TikTok inbox and post it yourself in the TikTok app.
Draft was sent but I don't see a public TikTok post: This is expected — Draft intentionally sends your video to your TikTok inbox for you to finish and post yourself in the TikTok app; it does not post directly.
I can't select a TikTok privacy option: VYRDAI only enables the privacy options TikTok reports as available for your connected account.
Publisher says the account is not connected: Connect the platform you want to publish to using Publisher's Connect action for that platform.
Editor Publish is unavailable: Publish requires the Editor to know the original Media job the edit came from; if that isn't available, Publish stays disabled until you edit a render that originated from Media.
